the bios doesn't seem to be recognising my gpu and i'm a little worried it might just not be supported, but i'll make sure the bios is up to date and graphics drivers are installed before i make that call for sure

the specs ain't bad, i don't think this thing has usb3 but my m.2-to-pcie bluetooth card seems to work, the drives are copying things over fast, and the i5-3470 actually clocks better than the i5-4430 in my currently dead temp pc, though obviously my r5 1600x would've blown it out of the water if not for the whole thing where it's dead and awaiting rma still. it's also got 12gb 1600mhz ddr3 (almost 16gb but one stick was DOA)

storage drives are installed (240gb sata ssd and 2tb hdd, no m.2 slot for my pcie nvme card)

currently booted into a mint liveusb and backing up a bunch of games from the ssd to the hdd so i can install an OS. we have a metered connection so i gotta be a little more conservative with data otherwise i'd just wipe and move on because this could take a long time...

my music folder hierarchy and syntax generally look like this:

D:\Music\Artist Name\[release year] Album Title\00 - Song Title.mp3

so for example:

D:\Music\My Chemical Romance\[2006] The Black Parade\11 - Teenagers.mp3

btw my assessment of botw's style as "dreary" is a complement because it's exactly the kind of look i love in games and it does it very well all things considered, while still keeping the cartoony stuff intact

huh, i haven't really had any extended periods of difficulty with grounding lately

maybe an hour at most on my worst days but those are still manageable enough

mostly just a lot of being spacey, which means it can be hard to be productive or remember to do things but, better than being terrified all day

i gave link in botw an entirely pink outfit and it's adorable. i was gonna do purple but the more vibrant colours stand out a lot better against the somewhat dreary realistic style of botw

@maffsie yeah, it's why i so easily took to google play music and spotify

but spotify is missing a bunch of music i like and i'm worried that'll just get worse over time

at one point i used dropbox attached to my music folder for syncing between my main pc and other computers, but i don't think it worked for mobile and i just had to copy everything manually

it also regularly duplicated my music to the point where there were up to 4 different files for the same song for entire albums, thanks to metadata changing slightly

the best i've used for local music on multiple devices was google play music, and that's basically dead + was more for streaming music to your devices after uploading everything to the cloud, rather than using your main computer as the server
