@porsupah SL overheats my partner's desktop pc, and that's a solid little beast (gtx 670, i5-4440, 12gb ddr3)

it can get pretty intensive depending on the settings :p

the fear is like, constantly there, but i'm kinda getting the hang of doing things anyway, y'know?

now if only i could apply that to the truly drastic things i want/need to do.

i'm afraid every time i post, every time i say anything, what someone will think of me. always looking for a reaction. it's silly, and i tell myself that's silly, and i post and say things anyway because everybody else is doing it and i want to, too.

LB i've never really stopped fearing anything in my life. in fact i've gotten more fearful as time has passed. but i've gotten better at doing things despite the fear. mostly because i've been forced to, but also just because i want to.

like, it's gotten harder for me to talk to anyone lately due to social problems i've been developing over the past year where it's nearly impossible to make a proper sustained connection with others. but i'm still trying.

@porsupah i've used steam sharing before. so long as you have your own account, link things up, and don't want to play games from the same library at the same time, it should work.

but if you're playing skyrim and your friend wants to play one of their games too, it'll kick you out unfortunately.

@porsupah actually 30fps would probably be fine enough but yeah. basically i would want something that can handle a few games when i don't have access to my main pc (homelessness, moving, going off the grid maybe)

@porsupah if it can run skyrim at 60fps on even low-mid settings then that's probably good enough.

problem is my budget would be like ~$300

fantasising about laptops again, except now i've realised all hte used laptops that i'd call "eventually affordable" either have a 1080p screen or decent graphics, never both.

@monorail also the problem i had with the image was during the upload to twitter from the switch which...i'm unsure how that happened
