i mean, shit, how many people who are supposedly caring and forward-thinking, look down upon the homeless? when they are our greatest resource in figuring out how the system is failing and learning how pertinent the situation really is?

we are still letting society bias us to a whole group of disenfranchised individuals because we'd rather live a lie than accept the truth

these people are failed by the same system you are being failed by. you could eventually become one of them.

it's like this by design. the harder you struggle, the more you'll question society, and the quicker you'll be pushed downward until you're so busy with your own survival and have so few resources that once you've finally figured out how drastic the situation is, and what truly needs to happen to bring about change, you can't do anything to work against it.

we keep talking about ways to bring about change without injury or loss of life and yet history is paved with revolutions and uprisings where people always got hurt, died, etc

it's a reality we'll absolutely need to face, to change a society where we are hurting and dying

the only difference is that the people that have the resources to fight, are the ones that aren't yet facing the axe. anyone who knows the gravity of the situation is too far gone to help, and nobody listens.

is the drastically increased danger of today's technology, weapons, and tightly-knit defense system cause for more caution, hiding, trying to do things "peacefully"?

or is it all the more reason to start revolting as quickly and as drastically as possible, to stop it before it gets any harder to defeat?

been wrestling a lot with the idea of how much one is obligated to do to better society. especially at one's own expense.

we all look back fondly on radicals and revolutionaries, and we like to call ourselves such when the terms are hardly deserved, but what actions can we do to properly live up to the radicals and revolutionaries before us?

society is in a loop where a little bit of progress happens, then people get lazy and think everything's perfect, then shitty people start taking the reigns and acting out their agendas, then people revolt against that and take back society, then society progresses a marginal amount again, and the cycle goes on

but we're currently so dulled to the idea of violence as a means, that we may not hit the revolution point anytime soon enough to go properly forward from this

pan basically means "i'm into everyone" while bi means "i'm into both same and different genders simultaneously"

bi can be a little bit confusing because it's not as straightforward to explain. but it's pretty much the same either way.

there are personal reasons to use both terms and those should be respected, but do know that bi IS NOT a trans-exclusive term

use whatever you like best and don't judge others on liking a different term.

tbh if you wanna call yourself bi or pan then feel free to, both terms are equally valid and it really all comes down to preference.

i used to call myself pan until i realised that bi was basically the same thing but with more history and saturation throughout society, and it felt to me personally like it'd be good to reclaim the word bi from the assholes who wanted to insist on excluding trans folks with it. not to mention i just like the sound of it better?

though i mean, i'm practically the only one in the entire world who still cares about achievements so :p

that's 16%, less than the 19% average i have on steam for achievement completion in games i've played (which is, admittedly, still quite low)

crypt of the necrodancer's achievements are mostly incredibly difficult and i've played 43 hours of the game but only managed to get 7 of 44 achievements

@body wish i had a mind with half the sense of humour. lmao

i ate as much as i could right before bed and i'm still waking up so hungry it's painful. not entirely sure why this keeps happening. probably something to do with just not eating enough in general (undernourished and still only eating 2 meals a day, if i can finish them)

wish i could get my appetite back. it is extremely upsetting to not have an appetite when i so desperately need to eat
