@Kit_Myotis this thing is robust and while it would be an absolute pain to replace anything, i don't really fear that i'll have to at any point unless the motherboard itself gives up the ghost. i'm thankfully extremely careful with tech, probably to a worrying degree. never been able to afford repairs/replacements

i've used a nexus 7, galaxy tab 10, ipad air 2, and a surface pro 2. the latter wins by a landslide simply because i can use it like a laptop, which maybe doesn't meet the use case of most people getting tablets, but it's the perfect tablet for me.

windows 10 is, unfortunately, the best tablet OS

but idk what game i'd even want to play

probably need to play a singleplayer game or something today to be alone with my thoughts, or at least not feel like i have to perform well for others

i get that if they didn't do a rotation like this, then players would only play specific modes and lesser-liked modes wouldn't be popular enough for anyone to play, but i still think it's a bad solution

splatoon 2's map rotation is annoying me a little because it's impossible to just set out a specific hour or two i want to play each night.

there's only like 1 specific time each day i can play any single mode and it's always different. can't just play a couple matches of each mode within the span of an hour and call it quits

ok one more thing

i'm the official bailey. so official that i don't even need a :verified: checkmark for people to know i'm the real deal. 1000% authentic high quality bailey

anyway i'm gonna stop with that before it gets to be some long vent rant. i don't need that today

even stores i generally "trust" have this habit of slipping in certain junk items with absurd prices to trick people into wasting money

it's very weird to think of sales and discounts as companies wanting to offload defective and/or unwanted products rather than any kind of good deal.

it kinda blew my mind as a kid when i realised companies don't have any obligation to provide you with a decent product, and anything you buy could be literal garbage that the company is trying to get rid of at your expense

every so often the breaker that controls the AC flips on an especially hot day but the fan that blows around the air keeps running, so i have no idea the breaker flipped until it starts to get hot

@BearishMushroom it could have some sort of power setting that turns off/hinders certain features when on battery power/when battery is low enough
