Were expecting some really nasty weather tonight,so I took https://diasporapod.no server offline for 15 minutes to take a full snapshot of the server, just in case lightning decides to hit our house tonight, that way I can recover everything if needed. Better to be safe then sorry.
I do not care how warm and nice the weather is today, I'm staying indoors. Been out and about every day with my family, today it's nice to just sit back and enjoy the hair condition on the lowest setting.
Decided to join mastodon, since the gnusocial server I was on is shutting down, feel free to add me if you are there too - https://fosstodon.org/@stigatle

Still enjoying vacation, nice to spend so much time at home with family. next week week we'll fix the deck on the front of the house, have to jack it up because a support has been sinking into the ground for a long while. Then I have to paint a bit too.
We all went for a rreally nice hike today, kids loved it. But it was really warm, 30 degrees, but my kids did not complain one single time. And in the end the hike was all worth it, fantastic place. Next time we'll bring a tent and sleep there.

How are you all doing? Started vacation this week, and now I have 4 weeks off work, feels great to have some proper time for family without worrying about work.
Sun is shining, best summerweather for many years, feels really nice!
I've never got CentOS to work on my thinkpad x200 with libreboot ,but today I got it to work!
There has been issues with libreboot before, and I checked again and found some information about the issue here .
I did test that now, and it booted up fine. So now I'm running CentOS full time on that laptop.
Solid OS to do development on.
Went on a hike with my kids when we got up this morning, and now I went for a 3 hour hike with our dog alone, enough hiking for today I think :) The heat in the forest was crazy today, but was really nice to spend all day outside.
