@indie It would be interesting to find out how they obtained the email addresses - did they purchase them, extract them via the Contacts API on Android etc.

@thor I've had quite a nice experience with Gnome on Fedora (better multi-monitor support that KDE Plasma). As an anecdote, most of my colleagues that use Linux are Gnome users (on various distributions).

@marcozehe Don't think there is such a feature on the operating system level and none of the applications I've tried implement it separately (I would have expected that tapping the sticky header would take you to the top, same as it does in Mastodon/Pinafore).

@infosechandbook Minor nitpick: that is the old Firefox logo. The new one is :firefox:.

@charlag Yeah I also remember some discussion about that. In retrospect the Pinafore approach should have probably been chosen (with a load newer toots button at the top).

@charlag Last time I checked it is almost a virtual list in the sense that elements are removed from the DOM with one gotcha: they are replaced by a single div containing the text of the toot, such that Ctrl-F still works. It leaks DOM nodes but only one per toot. Not an ideal implementation though.
