Sinds 12.20 uur vanmiddag voeren activisten van Stop the War on Migrants en de Anarchistische Anti-deportatie Groep Utrecht (AAGU) een onaangekondigde actie bij het hoofdkantoor van wapenbedrijf Airbus in Leiden (Mendelweg 30). What is your opinion about #Openbook?

Seems like a #Facebook alternative, but it is:

* centralized - they say they want to decentralize in the future and talk about #Solid from Tim Berners Lee (that's far from ready), but not #Activitypub.
* not clear which parts are open-source.

They claim to respect privacy, but I see no way how to check that.

I'm also wondering how they are going to be financed in the future. I see crowd-funding now, but they are specifically not non-profit, cause they want to keep the option open to raise money for future growth. In other words; they are looking for venture capital.
