    I believe it is quite simple to support a government committing war crimes for convenient reasons. It isn't a coincidence Indian nationalist Hindutva and imperialist America (through Biden) support this Israeli government. On the other hand, not all Jewish people, even in Israel, support it. The recent attacks against civilians and journalists in Gaza have nothing to do with Judaism anymore, and yet Israel propaganda still is publicly agitating the same red herrings.

    The Israelo-Palestinian conflict is complex in its globality, but the recent developments aren't. I don't have a definitive opinion about the justification for the creation of Israel, but I firmly believe the current Israelis policies aren't the way to go. Despite their public victim posture, they have all the resources to put a peaceful end to this conflict, and yet as of late they have consistently and purposefully been stoking the flames. The provided article shows they aren't even shy about their reason to extend the conflict despite being in an overwhelmingly dominating position no small thanks to the ongoing and unwavering US support.

    I believe it's a combination of several factors that make Israel a strategic US outpost in the Middle-East. By proxy it allows the US to threaten Iran, secure oil fields, keep a firm grip in the Middle-East, feed the US military-industrial complex and possibly pander to the American Jewish vote, while not risking a single American soldier.

    Thank you, it's been an ongoing struggle during the pandemic because I have had way more free time including because I haven't had to commute anymore. I know I'm lucky overall but it has had its drawback.
