    Also in the past 200 years the deadliest regime was capitalist democracy, we just don't have a death tally yet because it's still ongoing. But at least in the US this myth about Stalinist Russia is still used today to criticize even center-left policies which have absolutely nothing to do with it, so it really was a poor choice altogether.
