    Storing 1 million photos (and thumbnails) would take roughly 232GB of space. You could host them all on Digital Ocean spaces for $5/month!

    It does support rich text posts but they will not be visible on the Classic UI, only the MicroUI. #pixelfed #microUI

    When you have a dark UI, you need to differentiate links somehow, I decided an underline or very light color would be ideal. #pixeldev

    Working on separating the pixelfed filesystem abstraction into its own service with a circuit breaker to prevent wasabi outages from impacting the pixelfed instance.

    I love geeking out on technical stuff like this, I've never taken a CS class so I'm learning on the fly 😅
