@cathal Hmm. So I managed to get the phone to finish booting normally after the factory reset, but it's still crashing all the time. I'm thinking I might as well just go open source. Any suggestions? Is LineageOS still supported, or do I want something else? :/

@cathal I think I found the command, "heimdall print-pit --no-reboot", but it fails, even when I run it with sudo. It gives me the "libusb: error [op_set_interface] setintf failed error -1 errno 71
", which looks like what you were talking about earlier, but again, it does that even when run with sudo. :/

@cathal Yeah I'm using the GUI. I'll try and look up the command. :/

@cathal Haha no, heimdall doesn't like that. Guess I'll need to keep trying. It seems to want either a heimdall firmware package or a .pit file. :/

@cathal Oh, I know how man works, I'm not that much a newb. And my file manager actually has the ability to create tar.gz archives built in. I'm doing that now, and then I'll see how it likes it? :/

@cathal Apparently it's a tar file with an md5 checksum? Not sure how to use though. :/
