@rrs I can use power and volume down to force restart and get a screen. But any attempt to boot, even in safe mode, even after deleting everything, causes it to crash. I wonder if the update for GDPR caused this? I think it did happen afterwards. :/

Huh. Well, I managed to get into the android recovery screen, and wiped the cache partition and then did the master reset. And then I managed to get into the startup a bit, but on the google screen it seems to be frozen... :/
