@kai I don't think it's even gonna come to that. I called in before, when they were sending me emails and they cleared it up. i called again and they said they'd have financial look into it, and I'm gonna call them again in a week or so, and I think they'll agree with me. Still super frustrating though. -_-

@dualhammers @kate *Shrug* the system won't change overnight. Until then, we have to make trade-offs. If they want to charge a shitton of money to live right next door, that's their prerogative. As I said before, they have to get the money somewhere and this is a comparatively harmless place to get it. :/

Ugg. Appliance warehouse is AGAIN insisting that I owe them money. Fuckers bought the company that I'd paid up front for a year long lease on a washer + dryer from and now they want to charge me before the year is up. Fuck em. >:[

@noiob Mmm, yeah - I can tear myself away. But, for some reason the activity is just so interesting I keep coming back to it, any time I have a spare moment. Much the same way I might to a good new book or a video game. I guess I should say, it's less a quirk with attention, and more a quirk with interest, combined with a relatively low ability to force myself to do things that are uninteresting. A lack of executive function? Or that specific executive function, at any rate. :/

So, I have ADHD. But I think, for me at least, its more complicated than that. It's some quirk of biology that can also cause an excess of attention, giving me symptoms very much like punding, no extra Adderrall necessary. For example, I've been spending a LOT of time sorting Legos over the last few months - even to the exclusion of things that I might have been better off doing instead. Anyone else have stuff like this? I've been meditating, and I think it's helping, but it's slow.

@jeffalyanak Same goes for ram, once you've used up your ram slots. Or pretty much all hardware, once you've used up your slots.

Though, I guess this wouldn't be that hard to implement, really. You just need, like, a high capacity data line between motherboards and an operating system capable of making good use of this. :/
