@kuro It's definitely an ideal more than a rule. With #code, most isn't so much sculpture as we'd like. But "do one thing well" has merit.

@kuro I'd say, mildly unrealistically, that that's an obsolete model given that column-inches are much less a concern these days.

@spla Perhaps, but it's parallel evolution. I really do like the idea of gnusocial bangtag groups. I'm considering my options for sure.

@alpacaherder I mainly don't want to settle on a node running software that will bitrot with age and make me move again.

@alpacaherder No software matures beyond maintenance. If people aren't filing and fixing issues, it's because they're not paying attention.

@alpacaherder based on the level of development and issue reporting, I'm inclined to say dead or dormant. Slow/minimal response on issues.

My node is unreliable. Curious what mastodon lacks vs !gnusocial beyond !groups. Don't want to open new qvitter account if it's bit-rotting.

I'm crashing on a friend's couch where the room is quite dark and I'm so glad I brought a powerful LED floodlight for circadian control.

I have to be extra strict with melatonin and circadian lighting around #DST time changes or they fuck with me for a week plus. :|
