Always
here:
no need to announce the future!
Always
written:
here in your hand.
Mind driven:
This thus! This thus!
Strewn:
heart-leapt epiphanies
gleefully shaping
our world.

@dogtrax @wentale #smallpoems in re #smallpoems. I reversed your poem a bit and whittled it into this:
Paper cuts
on my tongue
incised by stories.
Scars, too,
scriven deep.
Always there.
Always written.
Strewn
and wind driven
until scabbed over
and scarified,
waiting
the next cut.
Words
scattered,
leaves
in the wind.
To reach
them
all
would be
to write
the stories,
scratched
tongues on
cut
paper.

Goodnight friends! One of my fav. eerie quotidian sights is a lamppost lit in the day, casting that particular orange glow on an overcast afternoon rather than glittering on the tiny facets of night-time tarmac. Of course it has to turn on sometime, but it still contains a hint–a potential–of time out of joint.
There's a few vague senses of gloom & dread settling on me I think–seasonal weights & pressures of family obligation &c.
May we be refreshed by our rest today, & rewarded by our action.

@dogtrax A one letter revision that changes everything. That would be a good #smallpoems challenge. Change one word or, better, one letter. Here 'contented' become 'content'. I like the revision better. The field has one cow in it, the poem has one cow in it, and the world right now has one cow in it.

@phryk Good on ya for keeping the noiz alive.
I managed to track down the guy behind Gewaltakustik, my favorite noise artist.
The project has been dead for over a decade and his site died years ago…
It is my special pleasure to bring his music back into the cultural commons with his permission. <3

At university, I found a floppy in a computer lab.
Naturally, I put it in the machine I was using, to see what it contained. Among the documents it contained was a job spec. To the list of things the candidate would be expected to do, I added 'dress in rather sexy ladies' clothing'. I then saved the file and put the floppy back where I found it.
No idea what happened to it after that, but if that was you and you failed your coursework: Ha.

@wentale Glissando at end made me laugh. Reminded me of a commercial when I was a kid that made me happy. Warning. Earworm. https://youtu.be/48d5X3VqcU8
@tellio Then I thought why not? Here is my feldgang. #smallstories #walks for #learning https://youtu.be/Zxo5w0LdzAE
hey palos
remember it is literally in the whole #foucault theory that a huge feature of panoptic design is defeatism
it's supposed to make you feel bad and helpless and watched continually even if none of that is true, even if it's only true a tenth of a percent of the time
it's bullshit and false, don't sweat it

@dogtrax Yes, but do our students. Our local library is booming...with Amish! And with Internet use. I think a maker space would go nutz.
@okiekiki spot the hell on. Aggrieved and offended for years, our library is a beached whale, barely breathing, one big eye, one imploring wink, then....
@tellio Am simultaneously pleased (ILL is a fabulous service!) and saddened (a tomb-like library sounds like a much reduced and/or ill-managed materials budget).
