@z428 Nun ja: Es gibt ja Verschlüsselungsmöglichkeiten. Das Kernproblem ist und bleibt aber die Eigenverantwortung und die Didaktik der Vermittlung dieser. Können "wir" das vermitteln? Es bleibt immer der fade Beigeschmack, ein Restzweifel sozusagen, sofern man das "Anderen" überlässt. Das KANN gut gehen und man selbst kann sich selbst als gut aufgehoben fühlen. Das kann aber auch schlichtweg nicht gut gehen und man liefert sich selbst ganz einfach einem Unternehmen wie eben #Facebook oder / und #Google aus. #Datenschutz und #Datensicherheit kann man nicht anfassen und wenn man von autokratischen Bedrohungen durch Diktatoren und repressive Regierungen hört, so ist das vermeintlich ganz weit weg für den Moment. Nur können wir das schneller auch hier haben als uns lieb ist: Deutliche Tendenzen sind überall spürbar dafür!

Eine Diskussion rund um "Datamining" direkt in #Diaspora und was folgt? Irgendwann kommt das obligate Argument: "Machen doch eh Alle!" Ja korrekt: Es wird im Internet gesammelt was die Leitungen hergeben. Und korrekt: Es machen wirklich nahezu "Alle". Und jetzt die Überraschung: Im Umkehrschluss aber haben ALLE damit schlichtweg Unrecht. Gleichgültig ob "drinnen" oder "draußen".

Gleichzeitig zeigt sich hier aber auch genau das Bildnis: Für #Diaspora ist der Zug schon längst abgefahren. Das Netzwerk hat längst seine sprichwörtliche "Unschuld" verloren und ist zu dem geworden was am Meisten bekämpfen wollte im Ursprung. Ob es jetzt das quelloffene #Facebook wird oder ist? Wohl kaum. Dennoch: Ohne einen Wechsel in den Denkmustern wird das niemals etwas und man wird stetig nur die Fehler zuvor wiederholen. Zeigt sich hier auch ganz wundervoll in der Diskussion zu dem Beitrag in dem Netzwerk. Ohne ein Hinterfragen der eigenen Position, eine Selbstreflektion von jedem Einzelnen und möglichen Rückschlüssen werden die dezentralen Netzwerke auf lange Sicht nicht viel mehr als die zentralen Versionen mit etwas mehr Nebelschleier sein.

@z428 Ist dem so? Müssen die Leute "hier" nicht mehr "überzeugt" werden? Also für meine Begriffe flattern einfach noch zu viele Verweise auf #YouTube, #Twitter und Co. herum. Die FSFE selbst antwortet ja auch mitunter hierüber auf Anfragen via #Twitter.

Hier habe ich einfach eine sehr simple Ansicht: Blicke in den Abgrund und irgendwann blickt dieser in dich zurück hinein ... Abwandlung von Nietzsche. Wie sollten Leute von dort jemals etwas ändern "müssen", wenn sie doch ganz bequem Alles geliefert bekommen, sogar noch von den Verteidigern freier Software selbst? Im besten Falle nimmt man das zur Kenntnis. Im schlimmsten Falle aber macht man sich selbst nur zum Ziel von Spott, gerade weil man ja ebenso nur wie "alle Anderen" arbeitet. Es würde reichen, wenn Videos oder / und Inhalte angeboten werden und sie frei zum Teilen sind. Den Rest können dann gerne unterschiedliche Individuen erledigen, sofern gewünscht. Das meinte ich mit "Ideal"!

Es gibt halt kein RICHTIG im FALSCHEN. Und #Youtube wie auch #Facebook (und Andere) bleiben meiner Betrachtung nach im besten Falle FALSCH.

@z428 Nun ich denke #Facebook und #YouTube zeigen sehr gut wie eine "Idee" versagen kann und zwar komplett. Ich habe sehr lange damit zugebracht #YouTube zu "analysieren" und zu "verstehen". Bis heute habe ich das nur in gewissen Teilen, was mir aber dabei auffällt: Dort schließen sich immer mehr Menschen gegenseitig ab.

Du hast also sog. "Communities", die sogar untereinander gegenüber verfeindet sind und aufgehetzt werden - unterteilt in "Kanäle". Was dann in den Kommentarverläufen passiert möchte ich komplett zur Seite lassen: Das ist dann teils nur noch übel und mir schwant auch nichts Gutes wenn Kinder mit solchen Weltbildern konfrontiert aufwachsen. Daher braucht es #Medienkompetenz und vorzugsweise irgendwann auch die Einsicht, dass es sich hierbei um #Sackgassen handelt. Denn #YouTube wird kapitalistisch bis zur letzten Meta-Abfrage geplündert und ausgewertet. #Facebook als "soziales Netzwerk" zu bezeichnen ist beispielsweise meines Erachtens komplett falsch!
