Did your #Firefox just crash and wipe disable most of your add-ons? Same!
Temporary fix that worked for me (use at your own risk):
1. Paste "about:config" in the URL bar
2. Accept the risk!
3. In the search bar on resulting page, paste
xpinstall.signatures.required4. Click "true" so that it changes to "false". Leave it as "'false".
5. Restart Firefoxmore here: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/bkfg00/also_had_all_my_addons_disabled_and_cant/emgdduw/

I'm subject to a growing number of websites that don't work cleanly with #Firefox content blocking because they assume you can see the Google #reCAPTCHA and fail (usually with no clear error message) if the captcha isn't submitted.

#KeePassX and #Firefox always "work", but don't always work *really well* together. Current versions **totally** are! So sweet. ^_^

@amic The bad thing about #Flash being bundled in #Chrome, #Edge, #MSIE is that users donβt even know they have it until they try #Firefox and wonder why videos & animations on some sites donβt work.
I would love to see all major browsers completely block all Flash months ahead of their schedules. In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

So I decided to actually use #pocket. Not just in #firefox, but sign up for it and use it.
Over the last few months I've found most of the stories I get recommended are the kind of light clickbait and opinion found on sites like vox or vice. Very little of what people are calling 'fake news', but also very little of substance. Same for when I perform searches in pocket.
It's not bad for what it is, but I'm fairly certain I don't need what it is.

I'm really excited about Mozilla's focus on developer tools in #Firefox. My coworkers laughed when they found out I was using Firefox, because in their mind it's behind the times. Chrome is the only modern browser to them. New tools that make development easier makes it easier to show them why Firefox, and a diverse browser ecosystem in general, is important to support.

The new DNS over HTTPS (DOH) in #Firefox has an anti-feature. It bypasses any ad-blocking entries you might have in your /etc/hosts file.
There's a setting in about:config called "network.trr.mode" which is set to 2 by default. (TRR = Trusted Recursive Resolver).
I set the value to 1, which creates a race between /etc/hosts and the TRR to resolve the domain first and the winner's IP address is picked.
I hope both ad-blocking and #DOH work with this setting.

Anyone know where to add the mime type to an SVG file so it can be used as a #firefox favicon?

Over the weekend I built a #speed-reading web #extension for #Firefox called "Stutter". It will soon expand to cross-browser and mobile support.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stutter/
Try it out and let me know how it works for you. If you have any suggestions, you can log them on the github page here:
https://github.com/jamestomasino/stutter
You can see planned next steps on my todo list on the README
(please boost so I can gather feedback)
