    Last month a large number of full price commercial #games (including big names such as Civilization and Elder Scrolls) were revealed to contain the tracking software Red Shell:

    @charlyblack "good tech" is a pretty broad brief. I was responding specifically to #datafarm corporations being a) tempting targets because they aggregate loads of data they don't need to run their service and store it when they don't need to, and b) easy to hack because of security-by-obscurity approaches. #OpenSource alone doesn't fix that, but I'm saying #SoftwareFreedom, in the broadest sense of the term, mandates fixing it.

    I tend to use it for files that are in transit which I eventually store in local drives to free up the transitional space.

      Ever wanted an action figure with so many articulation points that it made all other action figures crawl back into their cardstock container? Well I present the open source action figure! This model offers hours of fun to assemble with your son or daughter. Imagine the parent that could print out an action figure, you would be a kids hero!! I made him pretty universal so he could be painted easy enough to be anyone. The head is joined so that maybe other heads could be made in the future..     Open source project XOREOS released version 0.0.5 "Dawn Star".

    The purpose of xoreos is enabling to play RPGs from Bioware's golden age natively on Linux, such as Jade Empire & The Knights of the Old Republic (Lucasarts).

    They desperately need more hands on board though!
