So the project that comes closest to a decent open source camera is the AXIOM project
Except for the physical sensor itself, the hardware appears to #opensource. So is the software
It seems to be mostly a complete project including the lenses
Unfortunately, the whole thing is very expensive. Way outside the budget of most film hobbyists
But I wonder if it's possible to make some of the components less expensively

@Digitalcourage hatte dieser Tage den Film "Das #Microsoft Dilemma" empfohlen. Nachdem ich mir den jetzt angesehen habe möchte ich das nochmal pushen.
Der Film schneidet das Problem von #closedSource Software an und zeigt ganz nebenbei noch ein paar grundsätztliche Schwächen unseres politischen Systems auf.
Er ist so aufbereitet, dass man ihn durchaus aus der Blase raus an Mutti oder den BWL-Kollegen verlinken kann.

I still don't get the #InnerSource hype. For me it sounds like: We do the same proprietary stuff as before but we try to become more attractive to new developers by practicing the #OpenSource development model in a test tube. Completely ignoring that they miss the software freedom aspect and large parts of the actual development model which works best on a large scale.

Beginning June 11, no more free API key for Google Maps (now Google Maps Platform) if you don't provide a credit card.
A lot of custom Google maps that have been created over the years will likely no longer work.
