@ben This really shouldn’t surprise me (Jeff Atwood being a huge ass). When LowTax talked to him about moving somethingawful to discourse years ago he came away saying basically Jeff had ignored and dismissed everything he suggested. If you’re too big an asshole for LowTax that is saying something.

At the risk of getting canceled I am uncomfortable blocking another instance just because they refuse to block an instance I don't like. I feel like you should only be responsible for moderating your own instance and ultimately if your doing a good job on your own users I don't care which servers you do or don't block.

I have chosen to block gab instances because that makes my moderation easier by keeping that crowd off my instance but that's just how I run things.
