This was after they removed the soap dispensers because someone was just allowing all the soap to pour all over the counters.

I once saw a shit in a urinal, at the Vancouver ferry terminal; a bold move!

Wildfire season came early this year and the entire city is blanketed in heavy smoke blowing in from the north. (TBF, this is around the time of the big Ft. Mac fire, but usually we don't get this level of smoke in the city until August. Also, this has officially become a thing that "usually" happens here.)

Trailer tires ordered. They have to use the big truck lift to install them, so it's first-come-first-serve, but they said Saturday would probably be pretty quick since fewer commercial customers would be in that day.

@keithzg Somewhere. I went outside at lunch and it was just...gone. It's freaky.

@porsupah Hopefully, yeah. As long as real meat is cheaper, it'll be tough to change habits for a lot of people. Looks like there is more competition in the "realistic imitation" meat field, so that'll help, I hope.

@interneteh Damn, those are awesome looking, especially the first two. I never really thought about what any of those plants would look like, since I only use the root/rhizome part.

@Shadejackrabbit No. 1 is gross, but not wasteful, so I'm not sure. Today I went into the washroom and one of the faucets was running at full blast. How long had is been like that? A few minutes, at least, since I saw no one leave just before I entered...but at least it isn't gross.

I guess the real solution is to look for the tightest boxer briefs you can comfortably wear, and probably ones that include some kind of synthetic fibre that won't get loose the way pure cotton eventually does...or maybe even just briefs, without the boxer part, if you can pull off that look.

(Seriously, though, I can't say I've had this problem, except possibly with some cheap Fruit of the Loom ones.)

Which is worse (in public washrooms):

1. People who don't flush after pooping.
2. People who leave the faucet running after washing their hands, knowing full well that it's not the kind that turns off automatically.
