@vfrmedia @craigmaloney @nydel bummer :)
I may have locked myself out of logging-in to my account (maybe stuck in 2fa loop?), so if I disappear I’m just off looking for my recovery codes 😂🤣

@craigmaloney @nydel @vfrmedia heh, I might have it working in lynx (although I’m still waiting for my 2fa code...).
Yeah my biggest beef with oauth as a standard is that it comes from a world that assumes everything is a web browser.
@craigmaloney @nydel @vfrmedia got as far as “click the link to authorize login” which is a blocker since this is a text-mode machine 😂
@saper @Jolt2bolt @vfrmedia not I
Realized that I’ve probably been spending too much time thinking about #raiden Mark III while I’m not even close to finishing Mark II.
so as cool as RISC-V, RapidIO, FPGA, etc. are I’m going to try hard to re-focus on finishing Mark II before spending any more time on stuff too far out in the future.
Cool thing is the physical architecture I’ve arrived at for Mark II is very modular, and will allow for Mark III components to be “woven in” vs. having to make a single jump to the new hardware.
@cobra2 no pix of the encounter but here’s what the shirt looks like:

Anarchist perspective on the death of net neutrality:
Wouldn’t it be funny if through destroying net neutrality, big ISP’s drove demand for mesh networks and distributed systems, effectively digging their own graves? 🤔
@elomatreb @Angle if you remember the instance let me know, I’d like to learn more (and I’d really like to stop using Wordpress 😂)
@Angle certainly on the authoring side (although on the consuming side the existing UI might be OK).
@elomatreb @Angle that sounds like a good start :)
A specialized client would be good and probably not too much work (the masto api is pretty good and there is decent sdk support)
@Angle that triggers some interesting thoughts.
I haven’t used Tumblr since the old days but back then it was more of a complete blogging platform than this is.
That said, using masto as a more full-featured blog is intriguing. With a little better rich text and embedding maybe it could get there?
I’d love to have a blog with intrinsic federation features like this.
@er1n I have a TA IT Dept T-shirt and I’ve only met one person who gets it...
AAAA THEY HAVE HOODIES
I COULD WALK AROUND IN A HOODIE THAT SAYS "MAAS BIOLABS" EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Because the way social media is gamified you are constantly fed a stream of what you already think to be true. This has conditioned you to reject anything outside of it hard.
Gotta get up at 5a and drive to Chicago, should probably get to sleep.
Y’all need to stop being so interestin’ 😁
@amphetamine not sure, all I’ve heard from him is one line of text and this photo and it’s been a week or so since the crash.
@amphetamine I miss riding but damn, I also like walking :)
Now if they *upgraded* his hip while they were in there...😂
@amphetamine yeah, track bike too (good tires, right suspension setup, etc.).
@Daily boo
