i believe in climate change but its still shocking when your office is closed bc of the channel flooding into it and the city advises using upper floors of parking decks so your car doesnt flood... oh and my bulbs are so confused, snowdrops blooming weeks early... this is not normal
If you're a UI, UX designer, or a programmer, or a software engineer, or anyone who touches anything related to user interaction and design, read it again.
I have a #English - #Sinhala#glossary of technical terms for humanities (mostly art, theatre, philosophy and literature) compiled using LibreOffice spreadsheets. What is the best way to publish them online as a searchable website? Is there a particular CMS you would recommend?
Woke up to read an email about an art group that operated since 1999 as a Yahoo group is closing down and they will resume as a Facebook group. I liked reading their email even though I rarely contributed. Discussing art on Facebook? No thanks!
(the most absurd picture I saw was when they added spickes into a tree so that birds couldn't sit down on it anymore.)

Bob Mottram 🔧 ☕ ✅Added the Edith notes system to #Freedombone. Edith is ultra simple and fast. Just navigate to your subdomain and append a title (mydomain/mytitle) and it creates a new note. Type anything you want and everything gets saved automatically. No buttons to press or distracting UI or delays. The most minimalist system possible.
You could use it for shopping lists or writing book chapters, or whatever.
Optionally you can add a login if you don't want millions of random internet users to be able to access your notes. I might make that the default just to be on the safe side. Also, I don't think there's any Markdown formatting support as such, so this is just WYSIWYG in the most literal sense.
