Opinions do not deserve respect. Opinions can be wrong. Opinions do not rely on objectivity or *The* Truth (if such a thing exists, which it usually does not outside of physics and adjacent fields). Nobody is obligated to treat an opinion as worthy of much of anything.
It is my opinion, therefore, that people who think opinions can't be wrong are full of shit and are wrong to hold that opinion.
And no, there's no 'agreeing to disagree' when a opinion is wrong.
I mean, there are genes *not* on the X or Y chromosomes which code for masculinizing and feminizing hormones, and sometimes you get recombination which results in masculinizing hormones on the X chromosome or feminizing hormones on the Y. More than that, mosaicism & chimerism can happen, resulting in a person who has both XX and XY cells.
And that's just the *genetic* portion of the puzzle. There are environmental factors that can skew gene expression toward masculinizing XX or feminizing XY fetuses.
Police departments knowingly hiring white supremacists, and yet "it's only a few bad apples", "not all cops", etc. This shit is why the police can't be trusted. There's systemic and institutional support for shitheads like the white supremacist that got hired.
I'm not going to Achille any time soon (I have no reason to), but I will actively avoid it as long as that guy and the shithead who hired him are policing its streets.
