Just spent 2 hours in a car to go to The Weekend concert, only to find out that it was canceled. Waiting in line to discuss a refund now. Ugh.

@chartier I use Grab here in the Philippines, which is like Lyft, almost daily, and for the 3 years I've lived here, I've had maybe 4 women drivers. It's really rare here.

It seems people feel personally attacked by your choice of phone. It's pretty funny.

@hund Every building in the Philippines apparently. They allow dogs, but only up to 24" tall, and my dog is 25.5". Apparently 1.5" is a major deal.

@brandon Interesting. Still easier for me to use an app dedicated to that purpose.

I set up RSS-Bridge a few days ago so that I can easily subscribe to Facebook pages in tt-rss and a few comics that weren't working correctly with the plugin. Good experience so far.

@brandon have you tried crocs (classic)? It doesn't have parts that can separate from each other, so it might survive longer for you.

@kev I had ditched Android a year ago or so, but honestly have fewer headaches with LineageOS + MicroG now than I did with iOS. I hope your experience will be more bug-free than mine though.

You may have noticed that I haven't been on Fosstodon for a while. Basically, life has just been crazy busy, mainly because I still can't find a place to live that will allow my dog, so it seems that I will be paying a boarding service to keep him long term, until I can find a better solution. We'll hopefully have a place to move to within a week (without my dog). Stress...

I'm not sure why I'm subscribed to RSS feeds for sites that post more content in a day than I'd read in week.
