      A Kerala man's Facebook post is making waves on the social media platform, for all the right reasons. The post in Malayalam, published on Wednesday, discusses a pertinent issue which is hardly a topic of conversation outside closed doors- contraception.  A native of Palakkad district, Habeeb underwent vasectomy recently, after the birth of his second child. Vasectomy is a surgical procedure for male sterilisation or permanent contraception. The small tubes in the scrotum that carry sperm are cut or blocked off.

    Whatever be the short term costs, the long term costs of letting Aadhaar survive, and then being forced to kill it later, are much higher.

    Before elections in Tirupura, RSS-BJP promised that they won't ban cow slaughter. After elections, now they have unleased their sister organisation VHP to try and ban it.

    I don't know how to do it on Mastodon. But, if the user you want to follow is on GNU Social, you can subscribe to the RSS/Atom feed of that account using a feed reader. Not the most convenient way, but it works.

    Is it possible on #mastodon (or elsewhere in the #fediverse ?) to hide followers, e. g. certain bots that I follow, from general view?

    (May not want to reveal all my interests to all my friends and family. :) )

    Didn't spot an answer to this in https://github.com/tootsuite/documentation/blob/master/Using-Mastodon/User-guide.md#following-other-users ... sorry if there's an obvious answer.
