@maiyannah
It really would have been!
Is why I always try to be evil as that test. See how much it actually lets you sway them in a, well 'unhappy' direction. If you're playing a fantasy over the top mad villain.
If you wimp out too much, it's taking away player freedom when you offered the world.
-
@maiyannah
Very much so, there's a lot of over complexity for the sake of being 'authentic' that muddles things.
-
@maiyannah
Yeaaahhhhh :c worries one.
-
Managing a realm. That changing based on your morality. A flexible proper morality system to go with that. Companions with different alignments, that you can push and sway in different ways. Lots of class options that are all viable. Etc etc.
That all sounds -awesome- to me, lover of RPG's and creative freedom.
Which makes me assume those ideas won't be executed nearly as well.
-
Honestly my main worry with Pathfinder: Kingmaker is that it sounds -too good- to me.
It's promising a bunch that I adore the sound of, and...I'm a cynical bitch so I assume it won't have that much.
-
@maiyannah
Kingmaker's a videogame based off the module, which...certainly sounds and looks interesting to me. But...will have to see how it works in action.
Moving DnD style stuff to videogames is always either super simplified, or way over complicated for videogames. Feels like there's not much exception.
-
"Huh, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, seems really interesting."
Chris Avellone plastered on the website for involvement.
"Oh well...curiosity dropping a lot..."
-
@maiyannah
Tee hee
-
@maiyannah
pretty much, tho that said a lot of current memes are like that :P
-
@maiyannah
yeah, very much so.
All so easy and predictable that it ceases to be funny.
-
Seriously tho, while april fools is super crappy, and I'll probs always find it that way.
I'd likely at least -somewhat- appreciate some tries at it, if anyone did anything that's not ridiculously low effort.
-
impersonation is not funny.
impersonation of a massive cunt, is even less funny (it's also super low effort, c'mon)
-
i love @maiyannah cos she's very lovely to me
is all mine and am thankful for that
-
also what's the point of jokes that are -actually good ideas-
"this cool thing is being implemented, april fools, it's not."
-
thankfully it's now over in the UK (it's past noon) but clearly others do not have that tradition.
-
also april fools day sucks, please do not engage.
-
even more ill today, not fun at all
-
was hoping tonights sickness would get better quickly
instead it resulted in being keeled over vomiting, and is still heavily lingering
feel desperately cold and weak cos of that so, gonna just curl up in a ball i think
though, just as note, my wifey @maiyannah took good care of me in this state tonight, and she's lovely

I just...can't wrap my head around those who feel the need to always agree no matter what, with everything. Especially when they sometimes make attempt to slightly disagree and then as soon as they get a reply to that...
Do they talk? Express their disagreement reasonably, to remain on fair terms despite how they disagree? Like most friends?
No...they snap back into line, like they're a grunt speaking to their commanding officer.
If your relationships, your friendships, are based on you never disagreeing, always praising and agreeing, and being so terrified of ever expressing your own thoughts reasonably when you have a conflicting opinion...then...that's not a proper relationship or friendship at all really, is it?
