They ship with coreboot and Intel IME disabled (well, to the best of their abilities.)
They make Pop!_OS too. You can upgrade from coreboot to Libreboot quite easily (I think?)

because doesn't "fix" per se, it moves the data to a new space and writes the bad blocks data to disk so that the OS doesn't use the damaged sectors later on.
Probably best to get your drive refurbished or get a new one.
