@RandomASCII Amazon's Prime sub thing is pretty amazing for content creators, it allow us(?) to support the creators for practically nothing.

In my experience it has been easy to use on all devices so this is what I use.
Im not sure about FOSS notetaking on multiple devices but there is todotxt-CLI which manages a todo.txt file that is opensource. There is a paid app-interface for this on 'droid and iOS to support the developer.
