@_emacsomancer I have no experience with Flatpaks on non-systemd distros. How well do they work for you?

I've had more problems with Ubuntu than I ever do with Debian. Arch is...well, Arch.

@10X @sm0g See, I use Godaddy, and I'm not very happy with Godaddy. Their control panel is awful IMO, and their whole website is just clunky and confusing.

@_emacsomancer that's because analog signals don't care if the signal is high or low, it will output all the same.

To be fair to digital, the analog signal is a huge bandwidth hog because it is uncompressed. Digital signal can cram more image in, or more channels, within the same bandwidth with no noticeable video or audio quality loss, because of compression.

No joke, I saw someone using a touch screen laptop to navigate through an Excel spreadsheet and Outlook email yesterday.

We use MS Office 2013, which is not touch friendly...

@Batcastle you know you might be OK using KDE Plasma, you can probably customize it to be touch friendly. It's also lighter on resources than you'd think.

@Batcastle Debian + XFCE or Xubuntu, IMO.

@mindnmotion @lattera I wish the Republicans would get their heads out their ass, and look and see what kind of shitty people they keep nominating and electing.

And I wish the Democratic party would kick their current leaders to the curb and never look back.

The leadership in both parties have been absolutely destructive to this country. Neither party is the one I recognize from even a decade ago.
