Jimmy Dunlop strings. Extra bright rather than my usual D'Addario XLs .045 to .105s

I'll look into what I did, but if you boil the strings, compress and EQ, you can get pretty much any bass sounding a lot like that.

@selfspork this was common across all social groups. Everyone was targeted. From the wealthy to the the poor, from white to black and all shades in between. The decision the tobacco industry made was to profit where it could, and how it could.

I have a book, that's a lot more dry of how tobacco pushed its way in Australia. We had the Marlbourough Man on TV into the late 70s. This is a good film and I'm sure it will be hijacked by those that want to keep is divided, but thanks for sharing.

@PhoneBoy that's the plateau reduced caloric intake kind of does, from what I remember reading. You need to trick the body again.

Gut flora is also important.

I need to get gig fit again. I've cut alcohol way down from the relative little I drink (surprise surprise) but energy drinks are the killer. I've replaced those with coffee. Short, black and strong like my housekeeper (spoken in a South African accent) when I'm out, or white, like my privilege, when I'm home
