@gemlog Great! I just typed 'mcedit' to see if it came with 'mc' and it does. My one 'meh' about mc is that using F10 to exit offers to close the terminal window, not mc itself running in the window.

@gemlog I noticed that mc offers multiple choices for my editor too, and points out the easiest!

Grateful to @gemlog for telling me about Midnight Commander: it's an easy-to-use time-saver file manipulation program.

@PeteMoss @vfrmedia Thanks for understanding I'm not shilling for Aspartame, I'm just trying to find reliable, trustworthy, science-based sources to defend the position Aspartame is bad. I see where people can argue "it's the dose that makes the poison" and "don't trust anything your greatgrandmother wouldn't recognize as food." I approach discussions of sweeteners and sugar as one who reversed negative health outcomes by cutting total sugar intake and adopting a whole, natural foods diet.

@PeteMoss @vfrmedia In my opinion and experience, metabolic dysfunction is a health effect. I'm reading on one page that exposed to heat or prolonged storage, aspartame breaks down into metabolites. Maybe aspartame is like canola oil or grains in that it seems innocuous until one learns how it's stored or cleaned or processed.
