Yup, pretty much.
As far as Brexit is concerned BoJo would be happy to limp along because if the UK doesn't do anything we are out with no-deal.Minority government works elsewhere, but Westminster is supposed to have (convention) majority administrations. It was always argued that was the strength of FPTP.

My "feeling": Corbyn had a surge from younger voters. In both senses he benefitted from Momentum. I don't think that same level of support exists now. Labour's ambiguos approach to Brexit not helping. Also, the personal ratings for Corbyn are down.SNP made a complete botch of the 2017 election and left the field open to the Tories, or should I say the Ruth Davidson Party. I'm not convinced the SNP have learned the lessons from 2017. However, I expect the SNP will get 50+

Is it a reference to BoJo not yet having had an election or that he doesn't have a majority? -

Oh, the appeal is set for this afternoon.
Gosh, courts can move fast when they want.

Disappointing.
Judge has ruled that the court can not intervene on prerogative power.
The petitioners believe the judge has erred in law. An immediate appeal is being made. This case has not ended. Next stage will be The Court of Appeal and if not successful then the European Court of Justice.

Standing as an independent might be fine for a Ken Clarke or a Hammond. They have name recognition, and will carry personal support. That doesn't apply to most MPs. People vote for any monkey with a red/blue/orange rosette. In marginal seats they could split the vote enough to allow the other side to win.

"squatting PM" is quite clever. Language is important. I object when it used for silly things like "Surrender Bill". I also wish people wouldn't get so easily manipulated. -

Nope.
If the election is in the next few weeks there won't be time to register a new party name. They will have to stand as independents."long standing and popular Tory MPs"
You're having a laff? 😃

Exactly, earworm. Probably a direct translation.*Coincidence*
Gerry & The Pacemakers were the first group to have three consecutive number one records with their first three releases. This wasn't equalled until twenty years later when another Liverpool group achieved the same thing, namely... Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Not No-Deal becomes law?
Yes. It is the concept of future administrations not being bound by previous ones. This situation is different where the legislature is governed by a real constitution. -

The difference these days is the really high ceilings which allow voices to dissipate. Plus, most people hear their representatives via radio & television, necessitating the use of microphones. -

Supposedly, people like Dominic Cummings spend hours pouring over voter research before coming up with these ideas.I wonder how many people actually change their opinions because of this terminology.

I've just posted a link to a song by Gerry & The Pacemakers. This got me thinking about the word "pacemaker". At the time the group was formed, late 1950s, a pacemaker was someone who set the pace in a race, usually in middle and long distance running.
Nowadays, if you mention pacemaker most people will probably think of the device used to regulate heart beats.
There is still a connection, as Gerry & the Pacemakers were a *beat* group. 😃

Yeah, the BBC are reporting that the Jack Russell was previously housed with another cat. However, Larry was unavailable for comment. -

George "Dubya" Bush also had two Scotties. I seem to remember Putin made disparaging remarks about the Bush Scotties, something along the lines of a real man would have a real dog. -
