The no-confidence motion will fail, so no election. PM's objective is to be remembered for delivering an ordered Brexit. If that isn't possible she will go for any kind of Brexit. Why would she agree to a Peoples Vote?

This week's second #FridayFilm was:
Leave Her to Heaven (1945)Published author Richard meets Ellen while both are on vacation in New Mexico. Within a few days Ellen proposes to Richard, and 2 days later they marry. Very soon their marriage has some extreme twists & turns.
This is a classic #FilmNoir even though it is shot in glorious Technicolor. Gene Tierney is one of the meanest femme fatales to ever grace the screen.
This film is not to be missed.

I've not used any Windows in years. I presume from comments seen elsewhere that the progress meter still operates in a similar way. -

Theresa May cannot get her "deal" through parliament. Even if she managed to get DUP on-side (highly unlikely with any backstop agreement) she won't get the ERG Tories to vote with her.No time for Peoples Vote. EU said no further negotiation. Options would seem limited to cancelling Article 50, an extension or no-deal.
A 1930s style National Government might be the only way to circumvent the impasse. However, that would need a successful vote of no confidence.

My favourite Christmas card of 2018.
Still to receive lots of Christmas cards (probably), but there is no way 9 Scotties in cosy jumpers can be beaten.

As mentioned in the article colour calibration in Linux can be hard work. Even then it is essential to choose the correct hardware or it won't work at all. It is a relatively small market segment and once you filter that with those wanting to use FOSS it becomes miniscule. -

I use RawTherapee in one of three modes: a quick edit, a quickish edit then transfer to GIMP and really roll my sleeves up. Like many other tools I have settled into using RawTherapee and really like it. -

I've never used Darktable, so I have no idea how it performs. For that matter I've never used Lightroom either. I don't ever recall thinking "hurry up, RawTherapee". That must mean something. -

The #UK landfills 12 million tones of #waste and then exports another 19 million tones of waste to #EU to bury. In fact, it's the biggest exporter of waste by far in the whole EU.
Insatiable #consumerism?

It was great to see he also uses an Olympus OM-D E-M1 and RawTherapee. I can recommend both. 😃
I just wish I could afford (justify) an Epson SureColor P5000 wide format printer.

How could you go wrong with fried cheese? 😃 I could imagine lemon or something similar would be needed to cut through the "greasiness".Dolma I know, pretty common in many Mediterranean countries. In a similar vein I have many recipes with stuffed cabbage leaves (which are more readily available than vine leaves).
Talking of which, time for lunch...

Thanks. This is the time of year when the days of the week have little meaning for me. Between Christmas & New Year it gets worse, I can't tell which day it is without checking a calendar.

Fascinating. I didn't know of saganaki. I notice there is a Wikipedia article on saganaki and it mentions a Greek restaurant in Chicago as starting the presentation method you describe.

I'll give that a go.I can imagine it would impress you as a child. As an adult I still get enjoyment doing something similar with brandy and Christmas pudding.
I'm not a honey person but those other ingredients sound ideal.
