It can be a mix. There's tons of very nice, very expensive condos in Columbia Heights and a diverse array of yuppies. The jogger stabber guy was apparently arrested over by where some of the low income housing still is over there.

@dcgirl I know they have been forced to make some changes by the courts, like the ballistic gel "fingerprinting" but the "allowed gun" list is still pretty restrictive and of course you have to register it. Maybe I'm too much of a tinfoil hat, but I don't like gubmint lists. And you still have to go through the *one* guy. That just reeks of corruption to me. @chris @bigl0af
