Alderwood smoked salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, smoked paprika for a rub, marinated in a bit of pepper brine, seared and finished in the oven strip steak with sautéed brussel sprouts and portabellos on the side paired with a glass of decent cabernet. @Iamthebammbamm @temporaryDouchebag Yea, he owned up to it, and he's a smart guy. Haven't talked to him in years though. He moved over to WaPo initially to provide a more "conservative" perspective, which he was at the time. Then in 08 he drank the Obama Kool-aid. I don't know if it was ever conscious on his part but people gravitate towards what gets them praise and you get to be one of the "cool kids".
