If you have a Raspberry Pi and want to get rid of ads I suggest Pi-Hole. It is fucking phenomenal. It's as good as any browser based ad blocker. I'd say better but that's just my experience. It's a DNS server that blacklists shitbag addresses. Perfect for the home network.
