@djenderesensjuelist@ansugeisler@wlonk "Genocide is inherently flawed ideology" seems to be part of the stories messaging? I'm not sure how far you've read it watched, but Titans are victims in this story. They don't eat people for fun like the article claims, and the goal of the protagonists is to make the walls unnecessary. The creators of the walls are antagonists.
@ansugeisler@wlonk I disagree that it does glorify military discipline. It's fairly critical of it. While yes the military is a big part in it, the main characters are constantly at odds with the military, breaking chain of command in pretty much every mission.
The story has more detail that the article does not get into.
Can someone explain to me how Attack On Titan is being read as fascist? If anything, I've read it as heavily anti-fascist, anti-bourgeois, anti-imperialist, and overall anti-oppression. Hell, the core theme is "Everyone deserves freedom, because they were born into this world". The protagonists (who we are supposed to root for) are fighting against the fascists in this story. So I'm totally bewildered about where this completely opposite reading comes from.
Been working with Bootstrap a lot lately, and I have to say, itβs really cool. It makes a lot of things I thought would be complicated very easy. The documentation is also pretty good, too.
No Manβs Skyβs community is really awesome. They share co-ordinates to their farms so that others can use the resources or resell them for units. I was able to scrape together 1 million by myself, but by visiting one community farm I was able to bump that up to 50 million so that I could finally afford to upgrade from my starter ship.
@Are0h itβs all so artificial, too. These people do not need to be suffering. The housing is there. The food is there. The materials are there, but money bars them from it.
stop asking me whats up. the answer is always gonna be not much, just chilling. im always chilling. itll never change. even as i write this i am chilling
Joe Biden is not the person to be the next president. A typical liberal will not help save the planet, nor will he stop fascism. At this point in time, the only thing that will move us toward a better future is a radical overhaul of our system. Bernie Sanders has the best chance to do that in my mind. Every single policy he has revealed is a step towards making the U.S. a country Iβd be happy living in.
@sikkdays I loved Spider-Verse, but the MCU Spider-Man movies were the perfect live-action Spider-Man movies. I donβt think Sony could have pulled it off without Marvel Studios and the connections that come with it.
