imagine how much better off we all would be if these mass media hysteria events never happened. legitimate, non-staged firearms-at-school incidents would be reduced if the media didn't downright glamorize the idea annually. people wouldn't be scared into submission, terrified of firearms, which are just as powerful and deadly as the automobiles they drive every day (arguably less so)

@SpookyR true story: my first job post-college was with a recruiting company where I was their Dude Named Ben. They eventually decided to whore me out like a few of the engineers that worked there. While there are a few good recruiters, most of them are incompetent sleazebags.

And yes, far too much IT work is outsourced, where you're the dudette in the middle of a clusterfuck. Outsourced IT rarely works well.
