I don't doubt it @mrmcmayhem. When I used to go to the Y, I met all kinds of interesting folks. It's also why I go work in Starbucks in the afternoons when I'm not traveling for work.

@mrmcmayhem @tlhall I know what my tolerance for exercise is: mostly zero. Not to say I haven’t done it but I have a difficult time sticking with it. Also, I travel quite a bit, which makes any sort of routine in this area hard to come by.

Do appreciate the advice, though. I suspect, if some of what I hear about intermittent fasting is true, I may find I want to take something up soon enough.

@tlhall I didn’t intend to go to an every other day fasting regimen (usually just once a week with one meal on other days), it just sort of happened. That said, changing things up periodically seems to help me keep the scale moving the right direction.

I guess when I only eat a meal every *other* day, the weight really comes off. I'm down 5 pounds (2.26kg) over the last 7 days.

@Combaticus While I like working on different things all the time--something contracts can do by nature, I don't like having to deal with crap like billing (or getting) clients.

Thus, for me, being an employee is a better deal, though it does have it's downsides as well.
