@Dan_Ramos when "that's so Takei" does it, it's part of a character, when some Republican douchebag does it, it's a character flaw.
Yeah no

@ChrisWilson I didn't even realize #MeAt14 was a thing. And you're absolutely right, it gives these degenerates material they can fap in a bush to. π
@SirBemrose it's like every lie. You repeat it often enough, people start believing it. :P
@irritable @SpookyR depends on how the ads are done.
I fully expect at some point these apps are simply going to attempt to query Google's DNS servers (or something else) directly. In which case, you should probably block outgoing DNS requests from anything that isn't your pi-hole. :P
Funny you mention that @YoVinnie I was thinking of shape-shifting when I was thinking about the settlement negotiation. #GreatMinds
Given the number of pedobears in the Catholic church, that number seems really low. I guess they're really good at keeping the settlements low. :P
@SpookyR so far so good. Am going to have to see if I notice any difference (good or bad) and it will of course have to pass the family test. :P
@SLRock LOL
My network is now pi-holed.
@a_dude_named_ben @jeremiah it was a long time ago :P
Setting up a Pi-Hole VM. As you do.
@jeremiah Met my wife over IRC long ago in a galaxy far far away
@ryanbytes might be good to spin up on a VM. Might have to play with that.
@panda_monium sounds very plausible.
@ChrisWilson I didn't realize Pinot was a @SierraKiloBravo thing. But I do like Pinot and hope to be able to try a Kiwi one someday.
I'm all about the Pinot, 'bout that Pinot... π·
@chris classy steakhouse and old scotch sounds excellent to me. ππ»ππ»
@wolfspider Lesson to be learned: if you virtue signal, don't surprised when someone calls you on it.
@tomey @Vanessa I ended up using a different client to solve the problem (Tootle), which I'm liking a little better.
@jeremiah haven't tried that yet. Still too complex for my wife :P
