@catonano My favorite lately is using and promoting free software to large audiences to increase exposure, but seeing "non-coders"... -

@nee Assuming you're using QuakeSpasm here, I'm glad to see that it works. Also, this *is* a really smooth video! -

@codeawayhaley I think it depends of the storage size of the card. Wikipedia says the block size of different forms of flash memory vary. In conversation from quitter.se permalink -

Laughing a bit at "advice to young [insert career here]" things that basically advise single-handedly changing the market to be paid fairly for your work but don't advise e.g. joining a union or building a community of solidarity. Good luck with that.

i hate "last boost / LB / LRT" statuses. they are soo clunky. i have to go to your profile and scroll through. if it's old i might never find it
try this instead
1. reply
2. boost your reply so it shows up in the home TL of all ppl who follow you
if you want, you can remove the @mention from your reply so you don't noti them. or say "not directed at OP". but discussion is great, why would you do that?
if you don't wanna reply, at least link the mentioned status, please!

Downloading and executing arbitrary (and likely non-free) programs in your web browser was a bad idea before Meltdown/Spectre; that hasn't changed.
