For today's #edu307 #dailychallenge I want you to describe the cartoon or poular media character you most identify with. Tell us why.
Then consider does the cartoon or show count as children's literature?

Also thinking about reading with a mouse in hand.
Does everyone have as much trouble with autocomplete forms and FireFix as me? On dekstop its PITA but on Android its almost impossible.
Knowing students names also means spelling them correctly and if they use letter not in the English alphabet and you don't use your character keyboard or short cut.
You are spelling it wrong, and that is disrespectful.
Tip: Make shortcuts
Slowly but surely rebuilding my followers page using the old @wordpress link manager. Who I follow should be up to me and not a bird machine or a federated extinct large mammal machine. h/t @chrisaldrich #IndieWeb

@actualham If you have any links to post from people about the dangers or why we shouldn't ask students to learn in the open I would love to pass those on to my class.
@actualham @cogdog @Downes @lauraritchie @tanya @tellio @dogtrax who are the other educators I should follow on Mastodon. Are there other instances I should be aware of for our ilk?
@darius At same time being able to spin up an instance around affinity groups (or geofenced for locales) would be awesome.
I look at how educators use Twitter with dozens and dozens of hourly chats scheduled around the week.

Now were talking (to more people)
@snkendall_ Hey Shannon I hope to see you at #IndieWebCamp NYC <https://indieweb.org/2018/NYC
For today's #dailyponderance you need to highlight some cool #edtech tools. Give us 3-5 apps or websites we should try in class.
