Trying to find a way to make a simple model of a bicycle brake that my daughter (2.5 but advanced) would be able to follow.

Hey thanks @ink_slinger :) I’m really enjoying the lessons Ezra and I do together. She’s so smart and really loves to learn!

I’ve been thinking a lot about homeschooling when she gets to be 5 for a long time. We’ll take it a year at a time and see how it goes.

I think it can easier than public school - at least in terms of scheduling and stress. So much freedom!

We’re about to welcome a second baby in the spring so we’ll see how that changes things but for now I’m loving it.

Just put holds on books at the library for the next 3 weeks for our lessons. It feels like I’ve accomplished more than I really have 🤣

There is a never ending battle at my house called ‘too much stuff’

I know you used literally as figuratively when asking that question hit in answering anyway. I think I’d go with ‘actually’ as a literally alternative. Close meaning but room for flexibility. @LeftCoast

Sleep deprived brains crave quick energy I.e. chips. I get it - this happens to me when the toddler decides to wake up before 6am and refuses to go to bed before 9pm @ink_slinger

I think the issue is how we farm rather than how many farms there are: group animals in large herds and leave them in one spot for long periods, grow entire crops of food to feed animals rather than them eating what’s natural, planting entire fields with one kind of plant, planting more than needed and wasting a lot of it. All of that contributes to the negative impact. If we went back to small farms, and changed how we farmed, I think it would be a positive change. @ink_slinger

Were up to date on our filing for the first time since Ezra was born. I wonder how long it’ll be after baby #2 makes her appearance that we’ll be up to date again? 🤣 #whyisotsohard

Really hoping this stomach virus my girl has is over soon. What a long night.

Made some real headway in reorganizing our living room to make room for baby #2 equipment but also have a sick toddler so the day felt slow and unproductive. And yet, I am exhausted and grateful @thurloat was willing to switch nights with me and do bedtime tonight.

Be difficult to make haggis without a sheep’s stomach. You’d need a plant casing equally as supple and fibrous - corn husk? Marrow melon? Banana leaf? @ink_slinger
