I laugh at the mental gymnastics people go through to use gender-inclusive examples in the face of the most likely scenario you're likely to encounter.

I work in health insurance and when people refer to a physician, they will almost always say "her" to, I guess, show they're not a bigot, even though there are twice as many male vs. female physicians.

I'm not arguing that - it's certainly true. But I think, being called a racist aside, there is an argument to be made when reparations are brought up that being brought to America was a leg-up for their future blodlines, regardless of how bad it was for several generations.

Conversations you can't have: Slavery (bringing Africans to the States) was demonstrably a positive for African-Americans in the expanse of human history.

In what African country are blacks living a better life (claim all the endemic racism you want) than blacks in the US?
