the answer is the same no matter what the reason WHEN you choose to distribute your content on any given platform... you play elsewhere on the internet... and, perhaps, suffer the consequences.

same for publishing on Medium, FB, etc.

#RSS means you at least have a channel for your podcast, blog, whatever.
