@brian I love inkscape. It's my go-to tool over GIMP.

@lx @miwilc thanks guys. For now, I've gone back to my ISP router. Which, ironically, has more functionality! I'll look in to those options though.

Just adding some additional NAT rules to my router, and I get an error saying my router (a TP-Link AC750) has a limit 16 entries. 16 NAT rules on an upgraded router that cost $100!

Can anyone recommend some open source firmware I can blow on to the device to replace the shitty stock OS and resolve the issue? Thank!

@brandon why would you change "every password"? If a password hasn't been compromised, then it doesn't need changing (apart from regular changes) - especially if you're using 2fa also.

If your passwords are unique, changing all your passwords because one site got breached is a waste of time.

Each to their own though. If you have enough time to change all your passwords after every breach, more power to you.

@brandon you're moving the goal posts. Are we talking about storing passwords in the cloud, or regularly changing passwords? They're two different things.

I agree, regularly changing passwords is a good idea. Incidentally, many online password managers can automate this for popular sites & services.

Also, if you have a unique password for every site, not changing them regularly is less of a risk. So my point isn't moot.

@brandon just to be clear, I'm not being rude. I'm very dry and straight talking, so often come off as rude. That's not my intention, it's just the way I come across at times.

Just thought I'd make that clear, so you know I'm not intentionally being a dick. ๐Ÿ‘

@brandon...cont... You're in the same boat either way. So neither is more or less secure. Online tools just had the added convenience of being able to sync your data.

@brandon I don't really understand the analogy you are using. A login form and house lock aren't really comparable?

I'll give you my thoughts on the matter (I'll keep it as brief as possible ๐Ÿ˜)...

So, if Lastpass gets popped, the threat actor would get a bunch of highly encrypted (like so high its not getting cracked unless you have a quantum computer, even then you're gonna struggle). Keepass is also highly encrypted, so if someone pops your machine with malware for example, you're in...cont

@porus that's a valid point. I don't really run any others for that exact reason; I stick to WhatsApp.

It's a catch 22 - other tools aren't becoming popular because everyone is on WhatsApp, so no one will leave because everyone is on WhatsApp.

@brandon Iโ€™m gonna go against the grain here - as a pure OS, I donโ€™t actually mind 10 all that much. I dual boot on my main PC as my partner prefers it to Linux. I can quite happily spend the day inside windows 10. Yeah, itโ€™s not perfect and the privacy is none existent, but purely from a usability perspective, I donโ€™t mind it.
