@vancha I agree that every (both?) option has issues. We desperately need a new player on the mobile market. Problem is, it’s soooooo expensive to do.

@vancha I think that’s a good thing though - it stops devs shoehorning poorly developed apps into the store. I’m sure you will agree that the Play store has lots of crap in there.

I’m sure Apple does too, but it doesn’t seem as commonplace in my limited experience.

@joseph it’s a managed service so I highly doubt it.

@vancha what apps doesn’t Apple let you install? I’ve never had an issue with installing apps. Never thought I’d say this, but I actually much prefer Apple now I’ve been using it a while.

@codesections @mike Proton etc wouldn't work me personally, as I'm a heavy user of contacts and calendars. Zoho is a good alternative, but personally I'm happy with Fastmail and intent to stay on with them.

Up to you really @mike. If the content is that old, there could be a good case made for starting afresh.

What about linuxrants.com starting afresh on Grav (or similar) and archive.linuxrants.com being a static version of the current WP site?

There are plugins that can generate a static site from your WP site. Do that then delete WP.
