@codesections the X1 Carbon is more 'ultrabook' sized, so not as easy to open up and work on, that's for sure.

As for which device is best, that all depends what your needs are. A few guys in work have X2xx and T4xx and love them. Totally different price brackets though.

What made you decide to stop working with the JB folks? If you don’t mind me asking.

@linuxliaison it’s a lot of “fun”.

If you look at my recent Nextcloud posts, they have a lot of code snippets in them, I also had to change certain parts of the commands to red (the bits that needed changing). That literally can’t be done without a plug-in.

Gutenberg is different, but once you get used to it, it’s not so bad. I hope it will improve with time.

@Gina similar memories are some of the best ones I have with my dad. Unfortunately, he passed away when I was in my early 20s, but I still have very fond memories of working with him.

@blaubachn haha I can understand that. I don’t know when you last looked into it, but their UI went through a big refresh around a year ago. It’s a nice experience now, I think.

@blaubachn used Fastmail for a couple of years. It’s extremely good. I moved to Zoho though as FM was too expensive to put my whole family on.

Zoho is just as good, and has a user respecting privacy policy.

@sanchez you could always switch to the single column layout? I personally prefer it.

Go to settings and disable the “advanced view” if you want to try it.

@dwc I use Zoho for personal use and we use it for Fosstodon’s email service. They’re really good and have a simple privacy policy.

@brandon we have sorted that from a mod/admin perspective.
