@unicornfarts that is a big chiclid!
We have a few tanks, and my Mrs is always wanting to get more.

@dan why than you, sir. That's really appreciated. Although - and I'm sure @mike will agree - we have had very little involvement in creating the great community here, that's all you guys. 👍
@timapple how so? I've never gotten around to playing with i3
@unicornfarts fish tank? What you got?
@AndrzejL my kinda day.
@saltpork overall, I prefer #Tusky. I really like the feature on #Mastalab where you can view the public timeline of any instance, but I think that's the only thing it has over Tusky.
@brandon if nothing else, it's good interview practice. Good luck. 👍
@Jonoabroad haven't you heard? Hashing is for losers. 😉
@fatboy windows explorer? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@brandon when I interview people, I tend to start easy and go more and more technical until one of us reaches the end of our knowledge. I don't see that as a failure, but rather a gauge of where they're at technically.
Also, technical knowledge can be taught; attitude, not so much. Attitude is vastly important for me when interviewing.
What I'm trying to say is, don't worry about the technical stuff too much, as it's probably less important than you think.
@hitime they did that? Like, with your junk?! Screw that!
@unicornfarts oh shit, I'm so sorry dude. If it wasn't a full format, you may be able to rescue some of the data?
@kelbot Cookoo's Egg is one of my all time favourite books.
@codemonkey sadly, I think you might be right. 😕
@thomasfuchs you're gonna start a flame war with this one. 😁
Right side up so I could read the labels when in the case for me.
@DistroJunkie that may well be the case, but I think we (the Mastodon community) should give people the benefit of the doubt, and only take action when warranted.
@puffinux @boblmartens thanks guys. We do actively manage blocking where possible. It's a fine line though, so we tend to stay on the side of caution where possible.
@lockelamora @neugierdsnase very true. All good points.
@lockelamora @neugierdsnase I don't that would have helped anyway. Once the Fediverse got wind of him having an account, I imagine it would have been users from multiple instances jumping on him.
He could have created/joined an instance that isn't federated, but that kinda defeats the object of Mastodon IMO.
